My practice revolves around the sculptural dimensions of film, photography, and expanded cinema, with a focus on lens-based mediums. My work moves between a a range of inquiries that you can watch, listen to, or immerse yourself in through installation. I use video, sound, photography, and installation to expand and disrupt traditional representations of the landscape. I am less concerned with presenting a traditional view of place and more interested in capturing presence and emotion within a site. These are works that take time; there is some manipulation and production that are all relate to the story telling process and how we as the viewer engage with the narrative.

I am particularly interested in the narratives and histories inherent to specific locations and use photography and film practices to explore these different perspectives and possibilities. My work is characterized by a contemplative and minimalist approach, drawing on the principles of slow cinema to create immersive and contemplative experiences for viewers.These are works that invite the viewer to slow down and consider the deeper meanings and emotions present in the location.
