Three Rites of Passage was created as part of the artists solo exhibition, Aperture - Where the Light Comes In in The Courthouse Studios in Ennistymon in 2015

The narrative in the film was inspired by the story of Annie Sherlock a woman from from Ennistymon who in 1920s was falsely accused of killing her baby.
